One of the first female
members of the Canadian Jumping Team, Jane had an extremely successful
riding career. She was a jumper rider in the '60's to the level
of Olympic competition with the Canadian Team (Team members Jim
Elder and Tom Gayford will attest to her competitive spirit.) Jane
has excelled in Hunter/Jumper riding and, in many cases, has been
mounted on 'home-bred' animals.
In recent years, Jane has been involved in officiating for the Canadian
Equestrian Federation in the capacity of Judge and Show Steward.
She has acted in these capacities across Canada, in Bermuda and
elsewhere.
Jane is the background support of the German Shepherd breeding program
at Rivergreen.
