Rivergreen
German Shepherd Kennel offers a selection of puppies
and young dogs who are the products of a sincere
attempt to combine the beauty of the show dog with
the drive of the working dog. We hope our German
Shepherd puppies will go to homes in Canada and elsewhere
to become winning representatives in whatever field
their new owners choose for them. The German Shepherd
breed has the scope and versatility to be a life-long
companion, a serious schutzhund competitor, and a
dedicated crime fighter.
Our kennel
in Canada is one of relatively few kennels offering German
lines and S-V titles in the parents of the puppies
available for sale. We try to adhere to a breeding
program aligned with the demands and expectations
of the German S-V with the hope that we produce confident
and healthy puppies and, ultimately, titled and productive
adults.
The international
community acclaims the German Shepherd. We at Rivergreen
German Shepherds join that global community in applauding
this exceptional breed.
Rivergreen Shepherds has imported select males from Germany. All breeding males are titled (Schutzhund 3) with Breed Surveys (Kkla) and have top show ratings in Germany ('V' or Excellent). Serious German Shepherd breeders do not need to go to Germany to improve their breeding program.
Rivergreen males offer strong character, workability, and trusted show line pedigrees. They are proven producers with offspring winning in Germany, the Netherlands, and elsewhere. Our males come from lines that are strong in character with documented good hips,strong character and good health.
